Horry Soil and Water Conservation District Essay Contest

Each year, Horry County Stormwater Management co-sponsors the Horry Soil and Water Conservation District Essay Contest with the Horry County School District. Since 1943, the Horry Soil and Water Conservation District has held this contest and Horry County Stormwater Management is proud to play a part. As a way to meet state science and writing standards and with the lure of cash prizes, over 5,700 students from every 5th and 7th grade class from 22 schools in the Horry County School District participate in the contest.
